"Confrontation" displays arguably successful results of modern implementations on well-preserved architecture. Visitors of such places may not appreciate these implementations while perceiving them as disrespectful acts against history or productions of self-centered architecture which is solely based on architect's own inner desires to create a "fancy form". In this context, Confrontation gives an opportunity to the visitors to have another point of view.

In this particular situation, the success can be identified by visualizing the relationships between old and new, transparent and opaque, light and heavy. Elevations make this comparison process easier through pure observations on the designed, thought and calculated order embraced by the older ones, in order to identify the addition and distinguish it from its predecessor.
